Se realizó un estudio sobre la diversidad de macrolíquenes presentes en el Parque Nacional Chaco. Fueron identificadas 36 especies, de las cuales tres se registran por primera vez para Argentina (Dirinaria melanocarpa, Pyxine petricola var. convexula y P. pungens). Por otra parte, se amplía la distribución de 27 especies en el país, incluyendo nuevos registros para la provincia de Chaco y, adicionalmente, para otras provincias de la región.
