| Sumario: | This article proposes an analysis of the “becoming-woman” concept, as conceived by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari (1980), in the novel La creación de Eva (2018) by the Argentinian writer Federico Jeanmaire, from two dimensions. On the one hand, it examines the particular feminization of language that changes the ending of words ending in “o” to “a,” and on the other, it explores the defense of the construction of a transgender woman’s body based on the biblical account of Genesis. The hypothesis suggests a certain uncritical naturalization of a masculinist perspective, that ultimately perpetuates the confinement of women’s bodies to gender roles and sexual practices, that justify their exploitation |
