The objective of this study was to report the first record of A. aureolatum on a bovine in Corrientes Province, Argentina. In April 2019, a sanitary survey was conducted on Braford cattle from a livestock farm located in Paso Florentín, Corrientes Province, within the Humid Chaco region. The collected specimen was identified to species level using dichotomous morphological keys and was subsequently deposited in the tick collection of the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), EEA Rafaela. The presence of A. aureolatum in this region is consistent with its known distribution in the center-east and northeast of the country, as well as with its ecological requirements. This study constitutes the first record of A. aureolatum parasitizing a bovine in Argentina and represents the first record for Corrientes Province, contributing to the knowledge of the geographic distribution of this species and its known hosts.
