Sumario:The current research analyzes the relationship between teachers' digital competencies and the implementation of innovative didactic strategies in documentary materials within the framework of University 5.0. The general objective was to analyze how these competencies enable the transformation of educational resources in the digital era. A qualitative documentary study methodology with categorical analysis was adopted, applying a data collection matrix and thematic analysis to specialized academic sources. Results show that training in digital competencies is crucial for integrating active methodologies, personalizing learning, and ensuring equitable access to technological resources. Additionally, challenges such as the digital divide, resistance to change, and the need for regulatory frameworks governing the use of emerging technologies in education were identified. The research concludes that higher education requires a comprehensive strategy encompassing continuous teacher training, adequate technological infrastructure, and policies promoting equity in access to digital tools.
