Based on listening, transcription, and fragment classification, it was observed that these reformulations vary according to the students’ mother tongue and the type of academic discourse required. The findings show how learners develop self-correction strategies linked to the phenomenon of recognition, which is central to the process of linguistic subjectivation. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of considering these resources in the teaching of SFL in order to foster pedagogical practices that address the particularities of each linguistic trajectory. El estudio analiza los fenómenos de paralelismos y completamientos en producciones orales de estudiantes de español como lengua segunda y extranjera en exámenes CELU. A partir de la escucha, transcripción y clasificación de fragmentos, se observa que estas reformulaciones varían según la lengua materna y el tipo de discurso académico exigido. Los hallazgos permiten comprender cómo los alumnos desarrollan estrategias de autocorrección vinculadas al fenómeno de la escucha, clave en el proceso de subjetivación lingüística. Asimismo, se evidencia la relevancia de considerar estos recursos en la enseñanza del español como lengua segunda y extranjera, con el fin de favorecer prácticas pedagógicas que contemplen las particularidades de cada trayectoria lingüística.
