Sumario:Dental research presents a crucial opportunity for institutional growth, visibility, and reputation. It emphasizes knowledge generation, the development of new researchers, and the evolution of evidence-based clinical practices. Each of these objectives is significantly influenced by the necessity of disseminating scientific findings. Therefore, it is imperative to have faculty and researchers who are continuously enhancing their methodological expertise to strengthen this area. This also involves fostering a supportive environment, providing ongoing faculty training, creating platforms for knowledge exchange, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. This article aims to analyze and synthesize the available literature regarding the faculty's role in the process of dental scientific production and dissemination.
