Sumario:The modeling of the El Negro creek basin, which is a sub-basin of the Sauce Grande River in the province of Buenos Aires, is presented based on previous calibrations. Data were transferred to QGIS to systematize various information sources. HEC-HMS software was implemented using the Soil Conservation Service curve number method, the Muskingum method for flood flow, and the Kirpich formula for sub-basin times of concentration. The reference hydrographs were obtained from the calibration results of the upper Sauce Grande River basin model, upstream of the Paso de las Piedras Reservoir. Excellent to good fits were achieved for all nine events. The model is a unique contribution to the study basin, as no previous hydrological simulations are known.
