For the cold and hot period, measurements of dry bulb temperature and indoor and outdoor relative humidity were recorded every 15 minutes for at least three weeks. The dwelling physical characteristics and thermal comfort of the occupants were also collected. The climate of Uruguay is temperate humid, however there are differences in the climatic mesoscale. In all cases the houses were overheated, both in winter and summer, failing to control the energy flows over time. However, every time they were consulted, users indicated that they were in thermal comfort in their homes.
