It will present some of the main challenges faced by educational technology (ET) in revitalizing and transforming teaching in emerging futures, especially within state Universities in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. The primary objective is to shed light on and analyze how social contexts and educational logics intersect in teaching practices, fostering the adoption of new methodologies that enhance the value virtual educational environments acquired post-pandemic and paving the way for educational innovation. Through a theoretical reconstruction and the exploration of pedagogical experiences, this proposal delves into the empirical, theoretical, and epistemological foundations of ET and didactics to chart new horizons. In this vein, an analysis is presented on the methods and logics that govern didactic and technological mediation. Additionally, the focus is placed on teaching practices and didactic transformations, providing guidance on addressing the possibilities of "emerging futures." Within this framework, the article explores key questions that give meaning and form to a new way of "experiencing" educational action within political, pedagogical, and institutional contexts. As a conclusion, the article outlines the challenges faced by ET in educational praxis and within the political and pedagogical frameworks.

Desde un enfoque centrado en la reflexión teórica, este artículo analiza las prácticas docentes en el contexto de la mediación didáctica y tecnológica. Se presentarán algunos de los principales desafíos que enfrenta la tecnología educativa (TE) para dinamizar y transformar la enseñanza en los futuros emergentes, especialmente en el ámbito de las universidades públicas, tras la pandemia de COVID-19. El principal objetivo es iluminar y analizar los modos en que se interpelan la coyuntura social y las lógicas de lo educativo en las prácticas de enseñanza para albergar nuevas metodologías que potencien el valor que asumieron los entornos educativos virtuales, luego de la pandemia, y dar lugar a la innovación educativa. A partir de una reconstrucción teórica y de experiencias pedagógicas que nos permiten recorrer las bases empíricas, teóricas y epistemológicas de la TE, y de la didáctica, llevaremos esta propuesta hacia nuevos horizontes. En este sentido, se presenta un análisis de los modos y las lógicas que operan en la mediación didáctica y tecnológica. Además, se pone el foco en las prácticas de enseñanza y en las transformaciones didácticas que brindan orientaciones para abordar las posibilidades de los “futuros emergentes”. En esta lógica, se indagan algunos interrogantes que dan sentido y lugar a un nuevo modo de “presenciar” la acción educativa según los marcos políticos, pedagógicos e institucionales. A modo de conclusión, se presentan desafíos que enfrenta la TE, en la praxis educativa y en los marcos políticos y pedagógicos de las universidades públicas para delinear nuevos mapas conceptuales.
