Contemporary with La Mineta and Un Egg and a Half, the publication is part of the cultural landscape that preceded the emergence of the so-called “poetry of the 90’s” and the critical-theoretical framework that supported it. Made from collage and photocopy, Epitafio contrasts with the reading format proposed by 18 whiskeys, which –alongside Diario de Poesía– contributed to the “professionalization” of poetic practice. An examination of Epitafio and its territorial strategies such us presentations, exhibitions, poetry reading allows us to reconstruct a post dictatorship geography of poetic circulation this includes significant venues from the period, such as the General San Martín Municipal Theater and Liberarte. El presente trabajo aborda la historia de la revista Epitafio (ex cultural), publicada entre 1987 y 1990 por el poeta Eduardo Sívori junto a un grupo de colaboradores y colaboradoras de distintas disciplinas. Contemporánea de La mineta y Un huevo y medio, la publicación se inscribe en la escena previa a la conformación de la llamada “poesía de los 90” y al entramado crítico-teórico que le dio sustento. Hecha a partir del collage y la fotocopia, opera en contraste con el dispositivo de lectura ofrecido por 18 whiskys, que por la misma época contribuye –como Diario de Poesía– a la “profesionalización” de la práctica poética. La lectura de Epitafio y de sus estrategias territoriales –presentaciones, muestras, recitales– permite recuperar una geografía enmarcada en la postdictadura que abarca sitios de circulación de la poesía en aquellos años, como el Teatro Municipal General San Martín y Liberarte.
