In this context, the Laboratory of Invertebrate Biology at the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Natural Sciences and Surveying of the National University of the Northeast (UNNE) has carried out multiple activities targeting different educational levels, with a focus on invertebrates. Through biological collections, workshops, lectures, and hands-on experiences, the laboratory has promoted knowledge about the diversity of invertebrates and their ecological and sanitary relevance, while debunking negative perceptions, especially about organisms such as termites or sanitary-relevant arthropods. The positive impact of these actions has been highlighted by both teachers and students. These experiences demonstrate the transformative potential of university outreach when articulated with participatory, innovative, and sustained practices, building a bridge between science, education, and community. La extensión universitaria cumple un rol esencial en la vinculación entre el conocimiento académico y la sociedad. En este contexto, el Laboratorio de Biología de los Invertebrados de la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Naturales y Agrimensura de la UNNE ha desarrollado múltiples actividades orientadas a distintos niveles educativos, con énfasis en los invertebrados. A través de colecciones biológicas, talleres, charlas y experiencias prácticas, el laboratorio ha promovido el conocimiento sobre la diversidad de invertebrados y su relevancia ecológica y sanitaria, desmitificando percepciones negativas especialmente sobre organismos como las termitas o los artrópodos de importancia sanitaria. El impacto positivo de estas acciones ha sido destacado tanto por docentes de los distintos niveles educativos como por los estudiantes. Estas experiencias demuestran el potencial transformador de la extensión universitaria cuando se articula con prácticas participativas, innovadoras y sostenidas, generando un puente entre ciencia, educación y comunidad.
