Although Volga German is currently experiencing linguistic displacement, the many years of coexistence with regional Spanish has generated various linguistic contact phenomena. In this context, this study explores the linguistic dynamics of the contact situation between Entre Ríos Spanish and Volga German, focusing on language alternation, mixing, and loanword incorporation Entre los varios grupos de migrantes europeos que llegaron a la Argentina en el siglo XIX, uno de los más numerosos es el de los alemanes del Volga, que se asentaron principalmente en colonias rurales de las provincias de Buenos Aires y Entre Ríos y se distinguen por haber conservado su lengua de origen incluso hasta la actualidad (Hipperdinger y Rigatuso, 1996; Schmidt, 1997; Hipperdinger, 2005; Cipria, 2007; Feick, 2007; Ladilova, 2012). Si bien el alemán del Volga se encuentra actualmente en una situación de desplazamiento lingüístico, los numerosos años de convivencia con el español regional han generado distintos fenómenos de contacto lingüístico. En este contexto, nos proponemos presentar y analizar la situación de contacto entre el español de Entre Ríos y el alemán del Volga, profundizando en una serie de fenómenos como la alternancia y la mezcla de lenguas y la incorporación de préstamos.
