The results of the research reveal an intense workload, where they face physical, psychological and mentalchallenges. The interdependence in teamwork is highlighted, along with the unpredictability of interventions and the numerous associated risks. These findings highlight the demanding and dangerous nature of the activity that involves stressful situations, as well as the possibility of loss of life. However, positive aspects are also identified, such as gender equality in the organization of tasks, good communication and self-assessment of the work group, and continuous professional development through training and use of acquired skills. Este estudio se enfoca en analizar la carga global de trabajo de los Bomberos Voluntarios del Cuartel de Corrientes Capital, durante el primer semestre de 2023, abordando dimensiones como el proceso de trabajo, la organización, el contenido del puesto y los riesgos del medio ambiente laboral. Los resultados de la investigación revelan una intensa carga de trabajo, donde enfrentan desafíos tanto físicos como psicológicos y mentales. Se destaca la interdependencia del trabajo en equipo junto a la imprevisibilidad de las intervenciones y los numerosos riesgos asociados. Estos hallazgos señalan la naturaleza exigente y peligrosa de la actividad que apareja situaciones de estrés, así como también se manifiesta la posibilidad de sufrir la pérdida de vida. Sin embargo, también se identifican aspectos positivos, como la igualdad de género en la organización de las tareas, la buena comunicación y valoración personal del colectivo de trabajo, y el continuo desarrollo profesional a través de capacitaciones y la utilización de las habilidades adquiridas.
