Sumario:The main objective of this paper is to analyze, from a sociolinguistic perspective, representations of the moqoit language and Spanish present in a linguistic corpus collected in a rural school with moqoit students, located in the rural area of Las Tolderías (Charata, Chaco). The theoretical framework underpinning this research combines the analytical category of social representations (Jodelet, 1993) and linguistic representations (Petitjean, 2009) with qualitative ethnographic techniques (Guber, 2001). The corpus was systematized and built from firsthand material collected between 2019 and 2023. It includes semi-structured interviews and field notes gathered from eight visits to the field. The identification of linguistic representations was based on the search for signifiers associated with the lexemes "moqoit," "mocoví," and around referents such as "language," "indigenous language," "school," among others.
