| Sumario: | Despite the excitement in the Literature Department of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario after the democratic transition, in Rosario there were no publishers that sought to include in their catalogs the work of young local writers and critics belonging to that scenario. This would change with the appearance of Beatriz Viterbo (1991-), with the subsequent emergence of other publishing houses, such as Bibliele (1995-2006), and with the participation of members of the UNR Literature program in public publishing projects, such as the Editorial Municipal de Rosario (1991-). This article focuses on the links between the UNR Literature Department and the publishing field since the last decade of the 20th century, besides university presses. Thus, this paper aims to reflect on the influence of humanistic university courses in the publishing area of cities that could be considered semi-peripheral in the country’s cultural geography. |
