This articulation between such diverse languages and discourses gives the work a novel character, which makes it stand out within the framework of the graphic testimonial genre. The work stands out as a ‘testimonial comic strip’ that documents the violence and arbitrariness during the last Argentinian dictatorship. Through the use of testimonies and elements of popular culture, this comic book reflects the state of exception and the struggle for human rights. Thus, Historias de desaparecidos y aparecidos not only documents a political catastrophe but also educates and encourages ethical debate about critical historical events. En este artículo nos proponemos estudiar la obra Historias de desaparecidos y aparecidos, un conjunto de transposiciones de testimonios orales pronunciados en el marco de causas por delitos de lesa humanidad perpetrados durante la última dictadura argentina al lenguaje expresivo de la historieta. Esta articulación entre lenguajes y discursos tan diversos otorga un carácter novedoso a la obra, que la hace sobresalir dentro del marco del género testimonial gráfico. La obra se destaca como una “historieta testimonial” que documenta la violencia y la arbitrariedad durante la última dictadura argentina. Mediante la utilización de testimonios y elementos de la cultura popular, esta historieta refleja el estado de excepción y la lucha por los derechos humanos. Así, Historias de desaparecidos y aparecidos no solo documenta una catástrofe política, sino que también educa y fomenta el debate ético sobre eventos históricos críticos.
