In this article I analyze how from the time of duration, that time that overflows and expands the photographic instant, the Microcentro series created by Pablo Ziccarello towards the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st generates a chaotic space that pushes speed and the rhythm of modern cities. In a temporal game that displays a “wrong” use of the device, based on the stacking of photographs, the images of this series catch fire with reality and shed some glimpses of the political and social outbreak that occurred towards the end of 2001 in Argentina. ¿Qué formas urbanas proporciona la fotografía? ¿Cómo construye la temporalidad fotográfica el espacio sobre el que se detiene? En este artículo analizo cómo a partir del tiempo de la duración, ese tiempo que desborda y amplia el instante fotográfico, la serie Microcentro realizada por Pablo Ziccarello hacia fines del siglo XX y principios del XXI genera un espacio caótico que lleva al límite la velocidad y el ritmo de las ciudades modernas. En un juego temporal que despliega un uso “erróneo” del dispositivo, basado en el apilamiento de las fotografías, las imágenes de esta serie se incendian con lo real y arrojan algunos destellos del estallido político y social ocurrido hacia fines de 2001 en Argentina.
