It examines how violence can act as both a destructive tool of power and an effective tool when used in conjunction with fear. In this context, we are interested in proposing a critical examination through philosophical perspectives, with Hannah Arendt as our main reference author, and through historical examples. We aim to question the necessity and effectiveness of violence in the realm of political power, and to reconsider its role in the sustainability and legitimate exercise of power.
