The intention is to link three works that have dealt either literary or philosophically with sexuality in the West; and that they have also influenced each other. A partir de las obras de Pierre Klossowski, Michel Foucault y Jean-Claude Milner, proponemos caracterizar aquí rápidamente la sexualidad occidental mediante tres presupuestos simbólicos. Tales presupuestos son el canibalismo, la blasfemia y la prostitución. El primero nos ayuda a caracterizar el discurso de la sexualidad en la época clásica greco-latina; el segundo, el de la época medieval; y el tercero, el de la moderna. La intensión es enlazar tres obras que se han ocupado, ya sea literaria o filosóficamente, de la sexualidad en occidente y de autores que, además, se han influido entre sí.
