Her reflections show the examination of how Republicans have become the different, and how they must flee outside Spain to avoid the destruction of a community identity based on freedom as a political maxim. Through the analysis of her words, the need of the individual to continue fighting for his ideals, even after defeat, teaches us the value of personal ethics in spite of the constraints imposed by reality.
