To do this, it focuses on an installation by the plastic artist Jorge Cuello, “Historia de los gurises del ejército de terracota Acosta Ñu”, and the collection of poems Paraguay by the Argentine Martín Rodríguez, based on the hypothesis that these productions work with material and imaginary inputs taken from the Guaraní culture and project a poetic map as the epitome of a world destroyed by war, of a war that is closure and the beginning of the end of the same. El artículo se propone indagar en los restos de memoria de la Guerra del Paraguay que sobreviven en cuerpos y territorios de la contemporaneidad a partir de prácticas culturales recientes. Para ello, se centra en una instalación del artista plástico Jorge Cuello, “Historia de los gurises del ejército de terracota Acosta Ñu”, y en el poemario Paraguay del argentino Martín Rodríguez, a partir de la hipótesis de que esas producciones trabajan con insumos materiales e imaginarios tomados de la cultura guaraní y proyectan un mapa poético como epítome de un mundo destruido por la guerra, de una guerra que es clausura e inicio del fin del mismo.
