Descripción
Sumario:This paper examines Belén López Peiró’s Por qué volvías cada verano (2018) and Donde no hago pie (2021) in relation to Los niños perdidos (Un ensayo en cuarenta preguntas) (2016) by Valeria Luiselli, focusing on the questions that the law asks, in order to analyze how the legal system constructs its truth. From that, the paper reflects on the right to testimony and the concept of citizenship, that is, the conditions of entry into the law, as well as the conformation of second-class citizens, all in relation to literature as a space where new subjects of the enunciation might emerge.
