In addition, lectotypesare designated for Trichilia brachythyrsus, T. petiolulata, T. glabriramea, and T. puberulanthera, including nomenclatural notes. Trichilia es uno de los géneros más diversos de la familia Meliaceae, actualmente con cinco especies para la flora argentina, donde se incluye a Trichilia pallens, que es citada por primera vez. Se presenta una descripción morfológica de la especie, fotografías de campo, su distribución geográfica, hábitat, fenología, nombres vernáculos, usos, estado de conservación, caracteres diagnósticos y, por primera vez, una clave taxonómica de las especies de Trichilia presentes en la Argentina.
