Spoken in the area of the current provinces of Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Entre Ríos, and some areas of Córdoba and San Luis, since the 19th century Querandi language has ceased to be mentioned in studies and in the 20th it was considered extinct. However, it continued to be transmitted orally within Querandí families. At present, the members of the Querandí Nation have undertaken an internal reclamation action, based on the articulation of community memory and reappropriation of the traditional territory. This action invloved a joint collaboration with linguist researchers from the project "Interacciones entre lenguas y territorios en el pasado y en el presente. Ecología lingüística en Fuegopatagonia" and allowed for the creation of the Mirrí team. In this paper we develop the main aspects of this process, in which joint and collaborative work have remarkable presence. La lengua querandí atravesó una historia de silenciamiento e invisibilización que recientemente está comenzando a revertirse. Hablada en el área litoral de las actuales provincias de Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Entre Ríos, y parte de Córdoba y San Luis, ya desde el siglo XIX dejó de mencionarse en los estudios y en el XX se la consideró extinta. No obstante, continuó siendo transmitida en la oralidad al interior de familias querandíes. En la actualidad, lxs miembros del Pueblo Nación Querandí han emprendido una acción de recuperación interna, a partir de la conjunción de memoria comunitaria y la reapropiación del territorio tradicional. La colaboración emprendida con lingüistas investigadores del proyecto “Interacciones entre lenguas y territorios en el pasado y en el presente. Ecología lingüística en Fuegopatagonia” dio lugar a la conformación del Grupo Mirrí. En este trabajo exponemos los principales aspectos de este proceso, en el que destaca el trabajo conjunto y colaborativo. Universidad Nacional del Nordeste. Facultad de Humandiades.
