This paper analyzes this experience, under a conceptual framework focused on the convergence of two trajectories, the genealogy of the ISO 9000 series in the field of technical standardization, and the openness of public decision-makers towards the adoption of quality instruments promoted from currents of thought in the disciplinary field of organizational management. From this perspective, the functionality that quality models acquire in the light of the postulates of public sector reform oriented towards citizenship is highlighted. Thus contextualized under principles, trends and institutional agendas of standardization and certification, the core of the work delves into the analytical task referred to the specific case treated, that is, the confluence between Quality, Social Responsibility and Digital Transformation, as integrated forces for the promotion of continuous improvement in the provincial revenue agency. Finally, the case is interpreted as a true reference for the dissemination of quality concepts within the public sector, seeking to expand the scope of a vision of government administration, based on citizen experience. El presente trabajo analiza la certificación ISO 9001 obtenida por la Dirección General de Rentas, mediante la cual la administración provincial de Corrientes contribuye a una creciente tendencia global hacia la incorporación, en la esfera pública, de herramientas de gestión de calidad. En el encuadre conceptual de esta experiencia convergen dos trayectorias: la genealogía de la serie ISO 9000 en el campo de la normalización técnica, y la apertura de los decisores públicos hacia la adopción de instrumentos de calidad promovidos desde corrientes de pensamiento en el ámbito disciplinar de la administración de organizaciones. Desde esta perspectiva, se destaca la funcionalidad que los modelos de calidad adquieren a la luz de los postulados de reforma del Estado orientados hacia la ciudadanía. Así contextualizado bajo principios, tendencias y agendas institucionales de la normalización y la certificación, el núcleo del trabajo profundiza en la tarea analítica referida al caso específico tratado, es decir, la confluencia entre Calidad, Responsabilidad Social y Transformación Digital, como fuerzas integradas para la promoción de la mejora continua en el organismo provincial de rentas. Por último, el caso se interpreta como una verdadera referencia para la difusión de conceptos de calidad dentro del sector público, buscando expandir los alcances de una visión de la gestión estatal, basada en la experiencia ciudadana.
