As in 2020 promoting a model of local sustainable development (Plan Mar) included the construction of a Sustainable School. In this framework, the FAUD was summoned by the NGO Tagma, Amartya and the Municipality to take part. The participants of the extension project contributed the academic resources for the development oftechnical communication pieces to complement the visits and informative talks for the community.The building is inspired by a prototype known as Earthship or Nave Tierra: which starts from seven premises for its design; uses a construction system that reuses waste, carries out water treatment, uses renewable energy, makes rainwater drinkable, foresees bioclimatic design, thermal conditioning and food production, becoming the 2nd school in Latin America with these characteristics. The team materialized a 1:20 scale model and 8 infographics that describe the topics to enhance their dissemination and communication. El municipio de Mar Chiquita, Bs.As. en el 2020 promoviendo un modelo de desarrollo local sustentable (Plan Mar) incluyó la construcción de Una Escuela Sustentable. En este marco la FAUD fue convocada por la ONG Tagma, Amartya y el Municipio a formar parte. Los participantes del proyecto de extensión aportaron los recursos académicos para el desarrollo de piezas de comunicación técnica para complementar las visitas y charlas informativas para lacomunidad. El edificio se inspira en un prototipo conocido como Earthship o Nave tierra; que parte de siete premisas para su diseño; utiliza un sistema constructivo reutilizando residuos, realiza tratamiento de aguas,utiliza energías renovables, realiza potabilización de agua de lluvia,prevé diseño bioclimático, acondicionamiento térmico y producción de alimentos convirtiéndose en la 2da escuela de América Latina con estas características. El equipo materializó una maqueta 1:20 y 7 infografías que describen los temas para potenciar su divulgación y comunicación.
