Cómo trabaja un poeta by Alfredo Veiravé (2021) –the edition directed by Claudia Rosa– revealed and confirmed the deep self-consciousness of the poetic praxis of an artist who reflected on his art and on a vast Latin American tradition from the knowledge of his archive. In this critical essay we link biographical aspects with some of the poet's documents in order to observe, into his compositional processes, some primary features. Among them we highlight the humor that, although it belongs to the series opened by the anti-poetry of the Chilean Nicanor Parra and, besides, has other worshippers in Argentine poetry, as modes of a “desacralization of language”, it also has in Veiravé's work its own characteristics that we describe here. They were called by the poet himself, not without gentle irony, the “repentismo”. La aparición de Las tácticas de la ensoñación. Cómo trabaja un poeta de Alfredo Veiravé (2021), en la edición dirigida por Claudia Rosa, reveló y confirmó la profunda autoconsciencia de la praxis poética de un artista que reflexionaba sobre su arte y sobre una vasta tradición latinoamericana a partir del conocimiento de su archivo. En este ensayo crítico unimos aspectos biográficos con algunos documentos del poeta para advertir, en sus procesos compositivos, algunos rasgos fundamentales. Entre ellos destacamos el humorismo que, si bien pertenece a la serie abierta por la antipoesía del chileno Nicanor Parra y tiene otros cultores en la poesía argentina, como modos de una “desacralización del lenguaje”, posee en la obra de Veiravé características propias que describimos aquí y que el poeta mismo llamó, no sin amable ironía, el “repentismo”.
