Sumario:The landscape is presented as a social construction and is valued for different purposes, including heritage and tourism. This process involves temporality and various social actors with dissimilar objectives and perspectives, which causes the selection of some landscapes and the marginalization of others, depending on the interests pursued. Within the framework of an investigation that addresses the evolution and uses of the landscapes of the North oasis of Mendoza, the present research article seeks to know the vision of civil society regarding the patrimonial and tourist valorization of the landscapes of this area. The methodology follows a quali-quantitative approach; At this stage, surveys were conducted among residents. These data were compared with information previously collected through bibliographic analysis. The results obtained show the wide recognition, by this social group, of urban, natural and wine landscapes.
