This process involves temporality and various social actors with dissimilar objectives and perspectives, which causes the selection of some landscapes and the marginalization of others, depending on the interests pursued. Within the framework of an investigation that addresses the evolution and uses of the landscapes of the North oasis of Mendoza, the present research article seeks to know the vision of civil society regarding the patrimonial and tourist valorization of the landscapes of this area. The methodology follows a quali-quantitative approach; At this stage, surveys were conducted among residents. These data were compared with information previously collected through bibliographic analysis. The results obtained show the wide recognition, by this social group, of urban, natural and wine landscapes. El paisaje se presenta como una construcción social y es valorizado para distintos fines, entre ellos, los patrimoniales y turísticos. En este proceso intervienen la temporalidad y diversos actores sociales con objetivos y perspectivas disímiles, lo cual provoca la selección de algunos paisajes y la marginación de otros, en función de los intereses perseguidos. En el marco de una investigación en la que se aborda la evolución y usos de los paisajes del oasis Norte de Mendoza, el presente busca conocer la visión de la sociedad civil en lo concerniente a la valorización patrimonial y turística de los paisajes de esta área. La metodología sigue un enfoque cuali-cuantitativo; en esta etapa se realizaron encuestas a los residentes. Estos datos fueron cotejados con la información recabada previamente mediante el análisis bibliográfico. Los resultados obtenidos evidencian el amplio reconocimiento, por parte de este grupo social, de los paisajes urbanos, naturales y vitivinícolas.
