description In Ecuador 2015, the Intersectoral Family Planning Strategy was replaced with the Family Strengthening Plan. In the Plan, abstinence, family, affectivity, the life project, and human values were considered as strategies to counteract risk behaviors associated with sexuality. For analyzing the strategy developed in sex education in the context of this change, we approached a private religious school in the city of Quito in 2015. From a constructivist approach, we explored the ideas of sexuality of 45 teenagers in ages between 16 and 17. The results indicate the existence of a sexual education present among the Orientation subject, but through a hidden curriculum. We identify the construction of three body typologies: a body of knowledge for distancing, a body of fear for rejection, and a body of professionalization for postponement.
