The aim of our contribution is not to provide a new solution, but rather to review the existing readings in order to reflect on the question of which the verse is part of (vv. 67-69). The possible allusion to the figure of Odysseus in it opens up the possibility to enrich the interpretation of the poem as a whole. El verso Verg. ecl. 1, 69 se ha prestado a muy diversas interpretaciones desde los antiguos comentarios hasta las ediciones, comentarios y estudios de nuestros días. El presente artículo no pretende aportar una nueva solución sino repasar críticamente las diversas lecturas ensayadas para pasar a una reflexión acerca de la pregunta de la cual forma parte dicho verso (vv. 67-69).
