But the degree of impact of these dangerous phenomena is a function of vulnerability, so it is considered of utmost importance to evaluate their spatial distribution. In this sense, the objective of the work is to determine areas with different levels of global vulnerability. The methodology used consists of the integration of the multicriteria evaluation and the geographic information system, where the combination of both techniques is potentially valuable for spatial analysis. Complementing this technique with the explicitly spatial sensitivity analysis, as one of the various supports for the important stage of the validation of the results proposed as a decisional model. The results obtained represent on a map the areas of high vulnerability that must be considered to generate risk prevention and mitigation policies. The eastern part of the department and near the center of Pocito, where precarious settlements are found, stand out as vulnerable areas. On the other hand, the sensitivity analysis determined a set of criteria that are significant and robust in the vulnerability model. With this proposed methodology, it is intended to advance in reducing the probability of making an incorrect decision by reducing the risk of a resolution, by reducing the uncertainty of the database and the hesitation of the decision rule. El departamento Pocito, se encuentra afectado por diferentes amenazas de origen natural. Pero el grado de impacto de estos fenómenos peligrosos está en función de la vulnerabilidad, por lo que se considera de suma importancia evaluar su distribución espacial. En este sentido, el objetivo del trabajo consiste en determinar áreas con diferentes niveles de vulnerabilidad global. La metodología empleada consiste en la integración de la evaluación multicriterio y sistemas de información geográfica, donde la conjunción de ambas técnicas es potencialmente valiosa para el análisis espacial. Complementando dicha técnica con el análisis de sensibilidad explícitamente espacial, como uno de los varios soportes para la importante etapa de la validación de los resultados propuesto como modelo decisional. Los resultados obtenidos representan en un mapa las áreas de alta vulnerabilidad que deben ser consideradas para generar políticas de prevención y mitigación del riesgo. Se destacan como áreas vulnerables la zona Este del departamento y próximo al centro de Pocito en donde se encuentran asentamientos precarios. Por otro lado, el análisis de sensibilidad determinó un conjunto de criterios que son significativos y robustos en el modelo de vulnerabilidad. Con esta metodología planteada se pretende avanzar en la reducción de la probabilidad de tomar una decisión incorrecta reduciendo el riesgo de una resolución, mediante la disminución de la incertidumbre de la base de datos y la vacilación de la regla de decisión.
