Its use in school, despite the benefits reported in the literature, still faces the unknown and the reluctance of many teachers. The first courses involve a number of challenges, not only for students but for teachers seeking to introduce them in a space of reflection and communication of knowledge and promote meaningful learning. This happens on “Science Education Problematic” course at the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales in the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. It proposes a virtual classroom in the Moodle platform to supplement face-to-face activities of matter in an attempt to create links for students with knowledge, with peers and teachers. We present here the work proposal that has been very well appreciated by participants. En los últimos años la accesibilidad de los alumnos a la información y la enseñanza escolar se han modificado en relación con la implementación de las TIC. Su uso en la escuela, a pesar de las ventajas referidas en la bibliografía, todavía enfrenta al desconocimiento y la reticencia de muchos docentes. Así, en el primer año de cursado universitario implica una serie de desafíos, no sólo para los alumnos sino para los profesores que pretenden introducirlos en un espacio de reflexión y de comunicación de saberes, para promover aprendizajes significativos. Sucede esto en Problemática de la Educación en Ciencias, asignatura del Profesorado en Ciencias Biológicas de la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. En ella, se plantea un aula virtual en la plataforma Moodle como complemento a las actividades presenciales de la materia, en un intento de generar vínculos de los alumnos con el conocimiento, con sus pares y con los docentes de la cátedra.
