El caso de la formación inicial de docentes de ciencias en la universidad De Longhi, Ana Lía Ferreyra, Adriana Peme, Carmen Masullo, Marina Some characteristics of the understanding that, on the concept of “constructivism”, obtains a set of students of the sciences teaching carriers of the University, in different stages from their training process appear. The performances were interpreted that show to the students when solving different types from activities, raised from the dimensions of the understanding. The work identifies, also, that the didactic strategy used –IDP- it turns out suitable to promote the understanding of concepts associated to the pedagogical-didactic field. The results allow to visualize differences in the profits of the students agreed to the advance in the Race at the reflection level that considers from didactic strategy IDP and of the possibility of recovering the previous knowledge in the analysis problems of the educational practice. As much the instruments designed specifically for this study like the associated theoretical indicators to such, give account of a comprehensive process on the subject. Se presentan algunas características de la comprensión alcanzada por alumnos del Profesorado de Ciencias de la Universidad, sobre el concepto de “constructivismo”, en diferentes años de la carrera. Se interpretaron los desempeños de los estudiantes al resolver diferentes actividades generadas a partir de la estrategia didáctica de Indagación Dialógica Problematizadora. Se analizan los desempeños logrados, resultando dicha estrategia adecuada para promover la comprensión de conceptos asociados al campo pedagógico-didáctico. También los resultados permiten visualizar diferencias en los logros de los estudiantes a medida que avanzan por la carrera. Tanto los instrumentos diseñados específicamente para este estudio como los indicadores teóricos asociados a los mismos, permiten dar cuenta de un proceso comprensivo sobre el tema “constructivismo” en la etapa de formación inicial del profesorado de Ciencias.
