Inhibitory effect of glucosamine and 2-deoxy-D-glucose on arenavirus replication

The multiplication of arenaviruses Tacaribe, Pichinde and Junin was inhibited by 16 mM of glucosamine and by 10 mM of 2-deoxy-D-glucose.
