Four examples are given here, they were chosen because they show the forecasting capabilities of the model mainly in S South America. The first case is a blocking episode over the region, the second case of study is that of a typical summer configuration and the last two cases are frontal situations. In spite of limitations the prediction skill of the model was satisfactory.
