A phenolic withanolide from Jaborosa leucotricha

From leaves of Jaborosa leucotricha a new withanolide (20S,22R)-1,6β,27-trihydroxy-19-norwitha- 1,3,5(10),24-tetraenolide has been isolated and fully characterized. The structure of this compound gives further insight into the metabolism of withanolides. © 1992.
