Sumario:The experimental liquid-liquid coexistence and susceptibility data for ionic solutions was analyzed to examine the nature of criticality in ionic fluids. The short range interactions in Coulombic and solvophobic systems were confirmed by the observation of all ionic fluids asymptotically approaching Ising-like behavior. The crossover behavior in ionic fluids was related to a rescaled coupling constant and a range of molecular interaction. The ionic fluids and polymer solutions are also discussed with respect to crossover critical phenomena.
