It was observed that glomerulopressin increases the contractile tension of these tissues, and that this action was not blocked by atropine, cyproheptadine, tranylcypromine, but was inhibited by indomethacin, suggesting that the effect of glomerulopressin action was mediated by prostaglandin release.
