Low dead time 1 K cryostat
A cryostat operating from 1.5 to 400 K is described, in which a sample may be cooled down to 1.5 K and recovered again at room temperature in less than two hours, with a helium boil off of only 0.8 dm3. Simple construction and easy accessibility to all parts are salient features. © 1989.
