Nuestra unidad de análisis serán los trabajadores del cementerio. Sobre la base de un trabajo etnográfico realizado en el cementerio Central de San Isidro entre noviembre de 2022 y noviembre de 2024, pretendemos dar cuenta de diversas formas de construcción de la espacialidad y de la memoria colectiva, así como también de las experiencias de los actores en torno al trabajo mortuorio. Finalmente, analizaremos las relaciones entre vivos y muertos y las diferentes instancias de mediación que relevamos en el trabajo de campo. De esta manera, nuestro trabajo pretende realizar un aporte a las reflexiones sobre las prácticas y los espacios funerarios en el conurbano de Buenos Aires. The purpose of this thesis is to address the relationships between space, social actors and the dead in a cemetery in the Buenos Aires suburbs. Our unit of analysis will be the cemetery workers. On the basis of an ethnographic work carried out in the Central Cemetery of San Isidro between November 2022 and November 2024, we intend to account for various forms of construction of spatiality and collective memory, as well as the experiences of the actors around mortuary work. Finally, we will analyze the relationships between the living and the dead and the different instances of mediation that we found in the fieldwork.
