Ambos invitan a retomar viejos y nuevos debates sobre los lazos entre el Estado y el capitalismo. Este artículo de investigación ofrece una combinación de perspectivas para delinear el papel sustancial, pero también diverso, del Estado en una cartografía caracterizada por la existencia de macro-regiones variegadas. A partir de este ejercicio, se desarrolla la noción de “supremacía estatal” en China, con el objetivo de dar cuenta de una configuración estatal particular que surge bajo el actual cambio sistémico y ayudar a explicar las razones por las cuales el espacio sino-asiático aprovecha la nueva fase material de la transformación cíclica. Two interconnected and relevant processes have emerged in our century: the “return” of the State at the forefront of capital accumulation and the repositioning of the Global South. Both invite revisiting old and new debates on the links between the state and capitalism. This article offers a combination of perspectives to delineate the substantial, but also diverse, role of the State in a cartography characterized by the existence of variegated macro-regions.
