Departamento de Matemática–IMAS; Argentina. Presentamos las versiones no puras de esferas y bolas simpliciales con un número mínimo de vértices. Se trata de un tipo especial de esferas y bolas no homogéneas (esferas y bolas NH) que satisfacen una condición de minimalidad en el número de facetas. El resultado principal es que las esferas y bolas NH mínimas son precisamente los complejos simpliciales cuyos duales de Alexander iterados convergen respectivamente a un símplex o a la frontera de un símplex. We introduce the non-pure versions of simplicial balls and spheres with minimum number of vertices. These are a special type of non-homogeneous balls and spheres (NH-balls and NH-spheres) satisfying a minimality condition on the number of facets. The main result is that minimal NH-balls and NH-spheres are precisely the simplicial complexes whose iterated Alexander duals converge respectively to a simplex or the boundary of a simplex. Apresentamos as versões não puras de bolas e esferas simpliciais com número mínimo de vértices. Trata-se de um tipo especial de bolas e esferas não homogêneas (bolas NH e esferas NH) que satisfazem uma condição de minimalidade quanto ao número de facetas.
