However, they can underestimate the complexity of integrating technology in the educative process leading to underutilization of these resources. The COVID-19 pandemic changed many aspects in human life including the configuration of higher education institutions. In this sense, the lockdown implemented in several countries acelerated the process of integrating Education technology (EdTech) in the education process. Nowadays, the new normality in education relies on diverse hardware and software platforms. The consequences of the pandemic pushed institutions to makefast decisions about the use of these platforms in education without plan developed in advanced. This paper presents an strategy map based on the Balanced Scorecard Framework to maximize the benefits of using EdTech in higher education institutions. The results presented in this work aim to enable institutions to maximize the use of their resources, improve their productivity by the means of fusing EdTech and the educative process based on the lessons learnt during the pandemic.
