Virtualidade dos afetos: A potência do real em “Her”
description The body, facing the fact of the natural process of aging, dealing with the space-time relationship, has been pushed by technology to go beyond the potentiality of itself, and in actuality it becomes something rather than actual, meaning virtualization of the body. Overall, being virtual is defined as something that is not real, that does not exist. In short, being virtual is labeled as something opposite to the real. Considering the new dimension of the body, and despite its real or virtual structural intelligibility, the paper aims to interpret the relationship their relationship; at the same time provides an alternative meaning of this phenomenon. This essay is based on the Deleuze’s interpretation of Spinoza’s theory of affects and his concept of ‘the body without organs’ (Corps sans organes). The author considers the Deleuze and Guattari’s enquire about the relationship between the territorialization and des-territorialization of the body and re-possession. The film “Her”, which narrates the plot of a writer who engages in a romantic relationship with an operating system, provides as an empirical framework for this paper.
