description	In Argentina, since the mid-90s, he began to glimpse an urban process linked with reports on state terrorism (1976-1983) characterized by territorial registration and creation of sites of memory. Since 2003 this has been strongly promoted by the State. The experiences are diverse and disputes over the narratives that could propose spaces and ways of managing them definitions are still pending (Badenes et al, 2009). This process involves the marking of significant sites closely linked with repression (ex clandestine centers, police stations, cemeteries where the existence of mass graves), placing commemorative plaques in places like universities, high schools, community centers, the creation of parks or rides from memory, setting sights on the subject, among others. In this article we will share and present the theoretical perspective, in an exploratory way, the various marks found in the our research, “Territorial Brands on state terrorism in the city of Avellaneda” (Proapi 2014) of the National University of Avellaneda.
