En este artículo buscamos reconstruir la manera en que se genera reflexividad entre docentes, militantes y académicos respecto de la huelga protagonizada por el sindicato docente de Neuquén durante abril del 2007. En efecto, junto con su resultado trágico (el asesinato del docente Carlos Fuentealba), esta huelga desencadena interpretaciones respecto de la intensidad de la protesta social de las últimas décadas, cuyo epicentro lo constituye el activismo desplegado desde el gremio de maestros ATEN. Se analizan artículos, folletos y libros que narran lo ocurrido pero también interpretan los hechos y su impacto en la historia reciente neuquina. Nuestro objetivo es discutir si este conjunto de textos forman una “interpretación de sí” al interior de un campo de protestas, posible tanto por una particular disposición a la reflexividad como por la apuesta a luchar por la legitimidad y validez de los conceptos y las posiciones en juego. In this article we seek to reconstruct the way in which reflexivity is generated among teachers, activists and academics regarding the strike led by the teachers’ union of Neuquén during April 2007. Indeed, together with its tragic outcome (the murder of teacher Carlos Fuentealba), this strike triggers interpretations regarding the intensity of social protest in recent decades, which epicenter is the activism deployed from the teachers’ union ATEN. Articles, pamphlets and books are analyzed that narrate what happened but also interpret the facts and their impact on recent history in Neuquén.
