Las expectativas y las necesidades de los usuarios varían y se acomodan a las posibilidades que ofrece la tecnología, por lo que la biblioteca del siglo XXI no puede permanecer ajena al momento en que estamos viviendo. Su respuesta pasa por ofrecer servicios y actividades relacionados con la adquisición de competencias digitales para promover el uso de este tipo de contenidos. Basándose en las recomendaciones de la IFLA-UNESCO y de Lectura Lab, el artículo incluye una serie de propuestas relacionadas con el conocimiento de contenidos y productos (informar y formar) y su dinamización y difusión (entretener). Igualmente, se indican aquellos conocimientos básicos que deben tener los bibliotecarios para realizar estas tareas: tipos de contenidos, fuentes y recursos para la adquisición y selección, modelos de negocio y funcionalidades. The expectations and needs of users vary and accommodate the possibilities offered by technology, so the library of the XXI century cannot remain indifferent when we are living. Its response is to offer services related to the acquisition of digital skills to promote the use of this type of content activities. Based on the recommendations of the IFLA -UNESCO and Lectura Lab, the article includes a series of proposals related to the content knowledge and products (information and training) and its revitalization and dissemination (understand).
