A partir de un enfoque crítico, se examina el impacto de la redacción del Decreto 222/2003 y su efectividad al promover una composición diversa en el proceso de selección de jueces, lo que pone en evidencia cómo sus disposiciones ambiguas limitan la posibilidad de alcanzar una integración igualitaria. La persistencia de sesgos estructurales afecta a la legitimidad y la diversidad en el sistema judicial. Asimismo, se discuten las demandas de organizaciones de mujeres y el impacto de una integración equilibrada en el fortalecimiento de la justicia y su relación con la sociedad. En síntesis, se enfatiza la necesidad de adoptar políticas públicas efectivas que garanticen la representación plural y equitativa de género en la Corte Suprema, al reforzar su legitimidad y el valor de la justicia inclusiva. This work analyzes the problem of low female representation in the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, highlighting the limitations that the “glass ceiling” imposes on gender equality in the highest Argentine court. From a critical approach, the impact of the wording of Decree 222/2003 and its effectiveness in promoting a diverse composition in the selection process of judges is examined, evidencing how its ambiguous provisions limit the possibility of achieving equal integration. The persistence of structural biases affects legitimacy and diversity in the judicial system. Likewise, the demands of women’s organizations and the impact of balanced integration in strengthening justice and its relationship with society are discussed. In summary, the need to adopt effective public policies that guarantee plural and equitable gender representation in the Supreme Court is emphasized, reinforcing its legitimacy and the value of inclusive justice.
