Sus desarrollos han impactado en el campo de las Ciencias Naturales y las Ciencias Sociales aportando novedosos elementos que han enriquecido estos campos como también disparado nuevas investigaciones. En el terreno de estas últimas se encuadra el texto de «El malestar en la cultura» donde realiza un exhaustivo análisis de los determinantes de los padecimientos humanos y los «analgésicos» que aliviarán nuestras miserias. El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo establecer un diálogo con este texto y otros del mismo autor que contribuyen a comprender el sufrimiento cotidiano generado por la cultura. Como líneas principales se abordarán las causales que provocan padecimiento, las restricciones impuestas a la satisfacción por el seno social, la agresividad del ser humano para con sus semejantes y los psicodinamismos que se juegan en relación al sentimiento de culpa. Among the vast theoretical and clinical production of Sigmund Freud, we can find texts of the most diverse nature. The developments of these texts have impacted the field of Natural and Social Sciences bringing new elements which have not only enriched these fields but also triggered further investigations. It is in the field of these investigations where we could insert the text «The malaise of civilization» in which Freud performs a comprehensive analysis of the determinants of human suffering and «pain killers» that will alleviate our miseries. This paper aims to establish a dialogue with the said text and with others by the same author that may help to understand the daily suffering generated by culture. The main factors addressed will be: those that cause human daily suffering, restrictions on social satisfaction imposed by the social environment, the aggressiveness of human beings towards his fellow men and the psychodynamics played in relation to guilt.
